WeLink MCS is currently hiring for a Buyer - Deputy Manager on behalf of a client in the IT/BPO Industry located in Cebu City. The successful candidate will be responsible in identifying and procuring the goods and services that the organization requires while maintaining a good relationship with local suppliers and defining the procurement policy to adhere with all local laws and compliance.

Define Procurement policy and include in Master policy based on local laws and compliance.

Meet OTP targets of the company

Support clusters for large deals.

Facilitate quotes from the Local suppliers.

Identify risk areas and mitigate the same.
-
Negotiate local contracts and contract review.
-
Supplier relationship management.
-
Market intelligence report.
-
Manage the off shore operations team.

Implement new tools and technology from a procurement perspective.

Ideal candidate should have 5 to 6 years’ experience in Procurement in IT services or Product industry.

Should have hands on experience in contract management, Negotiations and S2P/ERP tools like SAP, Ariba Etc.

Should be well versed with local regulations and compliance related to procurement.

Desirable qualification: MBA in supply chain or finance/engineering graduate.

Excellent English language skills.

Should be a go getter and problem solver.

Knowledge of Japanese language will be an added advantage.

Certification in supply chain management desirable.
